Marking this monumental milestone where it all began, Brother Purnell returned to Tuskegee to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with his fellow 50-year Nupes in a joyous and memorable celebration honoring five decades of brotherhood, dedication, and impact.
A Lifetime Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and a steadfast pillar of the Gainesville (FL) Alumni Chapter, Brother Purnell continues to serve with distinction as Strategus and Chairman of the Scholarship Committee. Under his leadership, the chapter has strengthened its longstanding relationship with the Education Foundation of Alachua County, helping expand scholarship opportunities and educational support for deserving students throughout the community.
Brother Purnell’s passion for education and youth development has helped position scholarships as more than financial assistance—they represent hope, opportunity, encouragement, and investment in the next generation of leaders. His commitment has directly contributed to the chapter’s continued impact on students pursuing higher education and striving to achieve academic excellence.
